On August 15th, 2019, H.E. Dr. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of China to Timor-Leste called upon H.E. Mr. Taur Matan Ruak, Prime Minister of Timor-Leste. The two sides exchanged views on the development of China-Timor-Leste relations and practical cooperation in relevant areas. H.E. Mr. Ruak thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to the independence and construction of Timor-Leste. He expressed his willingness to push forward the development of bilateral relations jointly with the Chinese side.
