Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste Visited Heineken Brewery

On May 2nd, staff of the staffs from the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste organized paid a visited to the Heineken Brewery in Hera for their staffs.

Mr. Vinay Mathur,The General Manager of the Brewery, Mr. Vinay Mathur, expressed extended a warm welcome to all the staff of the Chinese Embassy and accompanied them during throughout the visit. The staffs visited the workshops such as brewing fermentation, cleaning, filling and storage, as well as lab with great interest. They, learned about the whole process of beer production, listened to the introduction of enterprise management, and tasted the fresh beer produced by the Brewery. The staffsThey also actively interacted with the brewery staffs on production, sale, and export issues.

Through the visit, the staffs of the Embassy expanded their horizons and enhanced their understanding of about national conditions and social situations of Timor-Leste.

The Heineken Brewery of Timor-Leste was founded in 2015, and the with a total investment was aboutof US$38 million dollars, whose workshops and equipments were built and installed by Chinese enterprises. It was the first time that a globally world-renowned manufacturer to hasto set up a production base in Timor-Leste. The plants and equipments were installed by Chinese-funded enterprises. Now Currently the BBrewery produces multiple brands of beer and beverages for the domestic market.
